 What is a Child Development Project Officer ?

Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) is an official responsible for the implementation of the integrated children's development block-level (ICDS), the superior scheme of the Ministry of Women and the development of children, the Government of India. CDPO plays a key role in overseeing the implementation of the scheme. These include: Preparation of village ICDS plans and downtown; Working with District Administrative Officers, villages and clusters, and Pancayati Institutions Raj to facilitate and coordinate the release of funds and shipping services. CDPO also manages women's supervisors in their blocks, and monitors progress through regular reports and registers and records.

Who is CDPO officer?

CDPO is an official who meets the state requirements. CDPO is a full form children's development project officer. This is called a child development program officer in English. The main task of the CDPO is to maintain children catering under the age of 6 years, education, health, and their projects are carried out by the government. CDPO is an inch of the supervisor of each Anganwadi. All works of work of Anganwadi and Angganwadi were carried out by CDPO officers.
